They have always made great maple syrup. I used to get mine at Shultz's Cider Mill in Armonk, NY, now closed unfortunately. A piece of country that fell victim to development. Enjoy the syrup.

I am trying this recipe today, it sounds wonderful!

I used bottled lemon juice, but its 100% not from concentrate lemon juice. I wonder if that will make a difference.

Anyways thanks for this. I am glad this came up as a pomona peach jam recipe cause I only use that pectin ;)

I FELL FOR IT!!!! I needed REAL Maple Syrup the other night for my new dinner dish i tried and i WAS in a hurry.... So i went down the isle at the grocery store and grabbed the smallest, cost efficient MAPLE SYRUP labeled bottle. And its EXACTLY how you described it. Small little brown jug. DARN those corporate liars!!!! I've just recently started getting food smart, with a 4 year old i NEED TO! I feel mislead.... Lied to by these..... Well simply put JERKS! But thanks to your post i now see that i need to worry more about the PURENESS of a product rather than saving 5 or 6 dollars. I mean you cant put a price on your health and all the additives that are NOT NATURAL really put your health at risk.... Thank you again for your post. Very helpful!!!
