National Arbor Day

Tomorrow, the last Friday is April, is National Arbor Day. This is not just a day to celebrate maple trees, but all trees. They are due their day aren’t they?  Providing shade on hot summer days, places to explore, limbs for creatures to climb about on, gorgeous washes of paint in the fall to be marveled at, trunks for animals to burrow in and by, privacy, and then of course there are the environmental benefits.

How will you celebrate the day and the trees?

Arnold Coombs grandfather said “do well by the forest and it will do well by you.”  That sounds about right.

A few beauties.
